CONTINUOUS HIGH TEMPERATURE ROTATING FURNACE

Silicon carbide 6"x 3’ tube with (8) 36"x 1 1/2" Globar elements, 2 in series connected and 4 parallel circuits, insulated SS housing. The tube is chain driven and is variable speed, mounted on a stand, Eriez vibrating feeder, zirconium/SS discharge hopper. It has an independent control panel, and it was also used in a neutral or oxidizing atmosphere with 2 insulated gas heating chambers with gas burners. The kiln was used for the decomposition of aluminum chloride crystals. The capacity is 2-5#/hr. and 1600°C. The unit lacks a reducer and requires a transformer.

Please email labarr@mclabarr.com for additional data, photos, and a quotation.

30" FLUID BED INCINERATION SYSTEM

The 2200 degree thermal system was originally designed for treatment, destruction, and reduction of toxic and other industrial hazardous wastes. The design capacity for sludge is 150# of dry solids per hour for sludge with 20-25% solids. It was installed as an EPA test facility. It was removed to the Anaconda Research Center in 1982 where it was further instrumented. The Anaconda Research Facility closed and the system is now dismantled and surplus.

The complete system includes a Copeland 30" fluid bed reactor, a Peabody preheater and combustion system, a 6T feed bin, an En Massee SS conveyor, 6" screw feeder, a recycle gas system, cyclone separators, aftercooler system, scrubber system, fluid bed controls, conveyor controls, Ph controls, cooler flow controls, Kloechner Mueller switch, differential pressure cells, rotary valves, Cole Palmer voltage controllers, Milltonics flowrater totalizers, 10" x 22" flapper diverter valves, air actuators, Shaw electronic level sensors, D-P pressure sensors, mass flow transmitters, Fisher Porter control system DC1 4000, Dex flexwriter, data acquisition portable control room, pumps, tanks, structure, piping, 2 feed conveyors.

Many of the circuits and accessory equipment mentioned above were added to the original sludge plant when the unit was converted to a Pilot Coal Drying Plant. This equipment adds versatility to the Pilot Plant. Since all of the plant components are not large, the plant, although designed for stationary application, could be made semi-portable or portable with small modifications.

The new system purchase price was over $900,000 and the entire package, dismantled is offered "As Is" dismantled, Tucson, Arizona.
