M.C. LaBarr Mining Machinery has been in business for over 25 years and has validated, inventoried and marketed over 30 complete operating plants for continued use or sale in place or for installation in more viable locations. We have evaluated and sold process machinery, smelter equipment, research/laboratory facilities and equipment and both underground and open-pit mining machinery. We have also evaluated and appraised Fine Cast Plant, Smelters, a Wood Chip Boiler System, Flotation Concentrators, CIL Plants, Lime Plants, Wet & Dry Cement Plants and environmental plants.

We have done evaluation and appraisal work on several SX/EW plants and recently completed appraisal on an operating plant in Arizona requiring substantiation of not only the current value of the plant in place but also the current market value of the various plants removed from the site. There are no reference books or charts that can qualify the value of complete plants with dependability. The bottom line is somewhere between "scrap value" and new replacement price. Factors effecting appraisal price are condition, remoteness to market, accessibility, age, and obsolescence.

Our wide-ranging experience in successfully selling complete plants uniquely enables us to undertake most processing plant projects. We are often required to field a team of engineers and equipment specialists capable of doing thorough evaluation based on technical review of design, componentry and performance of the plants. Considerable experience with the design, operation and management of both metallic and non-metal facilities is included in the team qualifications.

Our reports validate the various lists of equipment and systems included and advise our appraisal of the various plants both for operating in place and for sale to an economically viable orebody requiring an amplification or upgrade of their operations.
